Entrepreneurship promotion is of great concern to governments worldwide due to its importance as a major driver of innovation and economic growth. Many studies have established that interactive and practical methods of content delivery are the most effective in instilling entrepreneurial attitudes, knowledge and skills required in promoting entrepreneurship. Know About Business (KAB) methodology is a branded student-centered teaching approach used in content delivery of entrepreneurship education program in Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutions in Kenya. This study explored the impact of KAB methodology on promoting entrepreneurship among students of these institutions by considering the effectiveness of its implementation. The study was guided by three objectives;-to determine the extent to which KAB methodology has been implemented in the content delivery of entrepreneurship education; to establish the extent to which KAB methodology had promoted entrepreneurship among students; to investigate challenges faced in implementing KAB methodology in the teaching of entrepreneurship education. Descriptive research design was adopted for the study. The sample size comprised 400 final year students and 20 trainers of TVET Institutions in Vihiga County. The data was collected through administration of questionnaires to students while interview schedules were administered to trainers. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings of the study indicated that KAB methodology was not effectively implemented, as traditional methods of teaching still persisted hence most students had not acquired entrepreneurial knowledge, attitudes and skills required to promote entrepreneurship. The study recommended that there should be a serious monitoring and follow-up by policy makers to ensure that KAB methodology was implemented in the teaching of entrepreneurship education in order to promote entrepreneurship among students of TVET institutions.
